Chris' New Tattoo

As many of you know Chris is very proud of his heritage and being a first generation Polish- American. The trials and tribulations of WW II are ever so prevalent in the stories his family tells about living during the war. His grandmother can recall seeing Hitler come through her town and his aunts have memories of seeing the "big lady" in the water (Statue of Liberty) as they arrived into the New York harbor. All of their stories are what most of us only hear about while watching the history channel. With this said you can see why my husband embraces his polish heritage and courage his grandparents had to make a new life for their family in America. He's been toiling for awhile about what he was going to get that was different from everyone else but stood true to his roots. So after searching for quite some time he came across an old polish military symbol on the national flag and decided that's what he'd get. This would be a perfect tribute to his grandfather and his service to the polish army and to his heritage. With a little tweaking from the tattoo artist he came up with a pretty cool tat that reads "God, Honor, Homeland" in polish. To his suprise she (tattoo artist) was also polish and had some of the same family stories, so she was super eager to make this tattoo represent all that it should.
