World Cup Get Together

As many of you know soccer is huge in our household. To be honest I don't know if Gamecock football is as important as world class soccer. If there's a game televised it'll be on at our house and we'll be watching it. There isn't a team he doesn't know, a player he hasn't read about or a stat that gets by him. So, as this year rolled around my husband became very excited knowing that the World Cup would be fast approaching. He and Ray (brother) eagerly counted the months, weeks and days down to the first game. Our dinner time discussion slowly began to turn toward the articles they read online about who was injured and who might make the trip and who they thought stunk. You'd have sworn they were getting paid to give the "Kotowski Rundown." :) So, it was only fitting to have a team gathering for the US vs England game. We all piled in at Ray and Brandy's to watch the game wearing our jerseys! Chris was so excited that that morning he couldn't decide between what team jersey he would wear! At one point he was thinking about switching half way through the day!! Even though I was not as thrilled about wearing a jersey I will have to admit it was quite fun. Overall the game wasn't bad, we ate, drank and had a great time hanging out supporting our country. USA 1- England 1
