Chris and I did the Run for the Cure this year and as always it was such an emotional run. Each year we know that judging your time is not something that will or should be done after this race. It's so hard to keep your composure, let alone your breathing in tack while reading the "in memory of bibs" or the sweet signs that passers by have written to encourage the ladies in their fight. It's always so touching to see how many women are affected by this disease and the fight that they have. Research has come so far, but when you see the sea of pink shirts you know how much farther we have to go.
