Elloree, SC

Well we decided to take a drive to the little town that inspired me over a year ago. We packed up the car and took a ride up 176. Passing farm after farm and a few little houses along the way we made it to Elloree, SC.What a cute little town...emphasis on little though. Like many towns in SC there was one main street that had several local stores. The kind you just want to wander in and touch everything. To my surprise though, Elloree is known for their antiques, but not "Charleston" antiques. Ya know the ones that cost an arm and a leg?

No, these antiques looked like they had come from nearby farms and the prices were cheap! Even my lovely husband was shocked at how great the deals were. So shocked, he even encouraged me to come back. Score!! I knew I loved this town for a reason! After shopping and taking pictures of EVERYTHING that said Elloree we decided to end our trip in a little cafe that is known for hand churned ice cream. MMMHHH. How freshing. You definitely don't want store bought after having this stuff.
Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and had so much fun calling Elloree's name and watching the locals look at use funny!

Yes, we named our kid after your town and now we're here visiting!
