University of Notre Dame Day 2

Bah..Bah..Bah...Bah...Bah..Bah..Bah, Bah..Bah..Bah..Bah..Bah, Bah..Bah..Bah..Bah, Ban Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Nan..Nan..Nan...dun..nu..nu..una!! Go Irish!! Oh! Many times did I hear that cheer on Saturday. Everyone we passed by was either humming it or cheering it out loud. After awhile it's just kinda gets stuck in your head and won't come out. So the day of the game we were at the field at 10:00 with no plans in sight except to take in the moment, have a few beers and eat some tasty brauts. I do have to say mission accomplished on our part. Overall the game went well with a few exceptions...One, Notre Dame has obviously not read the recent articles on obesity in America because they packed us in so tight you couldn't sit straight, everyone had to sit at an angle to fit! I don't think the poor boy behind us was able to see the whole game because he was trapped between two huge people! Second, we had to sit 3 spots down from a NAVY fan. I'm tellin' ya this man had some nerve to sit where he was sitting! For the most part he cheered quietly but that still didn't rub well with some of the older alums! Last but not least, we LOST! What a sad game. We had so much trouble in the red zone and not to mention our kicker missed two field goals! Chris kept turning his head and saying, "Why do I love this sport? It drives me crazy!" everytime we'd throw an incomplete pass or an interception. All I could do was laugh. Even though we didn't pull out the victory it was so much fun. We had such a good time together and can't wait to go back next year.
