When everyone finds out that we have adopted they always ask how our four legged children are adapting. We always say they're fine and that they don't really notice she's around...well I guess we should pay attention more! Last night Gracie Mae was begging to climb up in bed with Chris and me so I we let her because it's been a while since she was able to cuddle with Mommy and Daddy. In normal fashion she snuggled in between us like a hotdog in a bun. After a few minutes she was sound asleep and snoring in my ear so I decided to help her relax just a little bit more. I took my eye mask off the bed post and put it on her. I thought for sure she would wake up and take it off, but instead she continued to lay there with her head on the pillow like everything was just as she had dreamed it! Poor girl just needed a little TLC and I didn't know it. I guess Elle has taken a lot out of them after all.
